The closer angles are even cuter! If I am going to let you in on a secret that I use for closer angles...I often make the hands and feet (depending on the angle and if they are closer than the body to the camera) just a bit smaller. Technically, whatever is closest to the camera (even in photography) is larger, but for some reason in my renders the hands or feet can look a bit too large in my opinion. But it is totally a personal choice on my part. Most people don't do make them smaller. I just like how it looks for my renders smile

kirstena that can be corrected with focal length camera settings camera distance lens and the like. set cam distance way back and use a 100mm focal zoomed in and you will see difference.

I use 85mm by default, even from a bit farer away. For close portraits I use between 100 and 120mm.

ghat, those are good settings too anything over the default 65 is better. tho if you are looking for wide angle shots go with 60 and below and the closer you get the more distorted it is

Thanks. There are only few 3D artists out there who are able to create and represent natural and realistic-looking children. In most cases the proportions are totally off and they rather look like dwarves, goblins or shrunken adults. So my 3D art is a rare one which you cannot find often.

@3dmaddness thank you for that tip. I do that sometimes too, but I often notice after I have everything framed exactly how I want it. So, it's just easier to make the hand smaller...lazier too, I am sure smile
