The king cake is a French pastry that dates back to the Middle Ages.
It is commonly served on the Epiphany, which is celebrated on January 6th.
The king cake is a pastry that is made with puff pastry and filled with frangipane, a sweet almond cream.
A small porcelaine figurine, called a fève, is hidden within the cake.
The person who finds the fève is crowned king or queen for the day.
The tradition of the king cake is thought to have originated in Italy.
It was brought to France by the Romans, who celebrated the Epiphany with a cake called panis benedictus, or blessed bread.
In the Middle Ages, the king cake became a popular way to celebrate the Epiphany.
The fève was added to the cake as a symbol of the Three Wise Men, who brought gifts to the baby Jesus.
Today, the king cake is remains a popular tradition in France and other parts of the world.
It is a delicious and festive way to celebrate the Epiphany.

I am excited to share with you my latest creation: a 3D king cake.
This cake is fully modeled in 3D and is designed to be shared between 8 people.
