3D Render by PopRoxTrying out another figure. This time I think she turned out just about perfect. The lighting is a bit dark, but when I lightened it, her tone just didn't look right. How did I do? I'm still learning so go easy on me.
I agree, it doesn't need anymore lighting than it already has. The lighter background tones contrast well with darker foreground tones. Great looking model btw.

Fri, Feb 09, 2024Thank you. Someone else on here told me that it's worth the extra money to pick a more expensive model with HD textures, bump maps and imperfect skin if I'm wanting to achieve a realistic look. The model is Arianna by Daz Originals

She went on sale this week so I took the opportunity to pick her up for just under $30 for both the figure and the HD add-ons

Sat, Feb 10, 2024I'd recommend a good pbr skin manager, you wont need the HD details when you can create your own skin with blemishes. Some of the creators on renderhub have pretty good models that are somewhat cheaper than Daz (MarcusGab has a store on here and on the Daz store as well as others)

Sun, Feb 25, 2024I picked up a couple skin managers to play with. I'll see how that goes. Thanks for the advice.
