Wake Me Up Before You Go Go ...
3D Render by Pushee-Ri... but don't hold your shitty smartphone torch in my face!
Inspired by a short (lighting) scene in the film "The last voyage of the Demeter", which is the cinematographic equivalent of a sleeping pill, despite good sets and good actors (at least in other films).
Well - at least I've got the idea (and Wham!) out of my head
Have a great weekend everyone

Sure thing, by implanting the earworm in somebody elses (my) head.... ;0(
Like the grain in this to make the low lighting believable.

Fri, Apr 12, 2024Thank you
... and yeah - these catchy tunes are really awful. By the way, it helps to watch a video of "Wham!" (those horrible hairstyles)

Hah, I'm glad someone else wasn't keen on that movie. I went and saw it hoping for some artistry and it was a bit of a flop, I got bored pretty quickly.
But I'm happy you managed to make some nice art out of the experience!

Sun, Apr 14, 2024Ohh haha that's funny, just looked it up to watch the one you mean. Those hairstyles were quite something!
But yes, last year there was a movie about it that came out too, and it wasn't great. So pretend I didn't say anything!

Haven't seen anything from you for a while. Lots of work, lots of study ... or both ?

Tue, May 07, 2024Your welcome Pushee-Ri, thanks for taking us to a retrospective journey in time. I had long forgotten about this. Anyway I think ''Last Christmas'' by Wham, was one of the most played or liked songs in UK charts, as it was stated last year.

The Whamageddon didn't transpire in the U.K., as Last Christmas (Epic) finally claims the coveted Christmas No. 1 spot. Wham's holiday classic from 1984 holds at No. 1 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart, published Dec.26 Dec 2023

...and besides, virtually every singer had the same hairstyle, from P.Young, Duran Duran to Modern Talking, back in those years

''Hairstyles in the 1980s included the mullet, tall mohawk hairstyles, jheri curls, flattops, and hi-top fades, which became popular styles. Amongst women, large hair-dos, puffed-up styles, permanent waves, and softer cuts typified the decade''.

I was just trying to give the model a face that resembles what you would look like if you were suddenly woken up from a deep sleep. So - I would look like this (only not so pretty
