... or rather Giallo?
3D Render by Pushee-Ri"Giallo" is the name given to penny dreadfuls in Italy. It is also the name for a certain type of film, as defined by Mario Bava, among others. Somehow this picture reminds me of that (and of course the cover of "30 Days of Night", too).
Of course I can't use this picture as a promo - but experimenting with light (or the colour of light) created this effect. I achieved the graininess by switching off the rendering process after about 10 seconds.
