“Looking For Mitty”

For 4 years Mila searched for her kitten “Mitty” that she lost. Mitty stands for my kitty. She put signs everywhere, there were no results. But every night for 4 years she goes to look for her kitty “Mitty”.

Mila’s heart has been broken over the idea of losing her baby kitten who she understands is no longer a kitten. But she still wants to bring her home. Her heart bleeds because she can’t take the thought of all the suffering her Mitty has experienced living out in the wild.

But after 4 years she’s about to get a surprise. It turns out that every night for 4 years, Mitty has been looking for Mila too. She shared 9 months with Mila so she remembers her scent. And each time Mila came looking for Mitty, every night for four years, she left her scent behind. So Mitty knew to come looking for Mila.

Mila adopted Mitty as. a 9 week old kitten, from a rescue. She bottle fed her and would take her jogging. One day she was taking Mitty for a jog by the tree in the render and she tripped over a rock and let the leash go and Mitty got away. Mitty thought that Mila had increased her speed of her jog as she would do sometimes.

Mila and Mitty looked for each other but we’re not successful in finding each other.
Mitty was alone and afraid with no one to love. But her dream of finding Mila kept her alive.

In this render that I did in Daz Nvidia, Mila is crying and walking around looking for Mitty, thinking that maybe it’s time to get a new rescue kitten and to being healing from loading Mitty. But Mila has not seen Mitty yet. But Mitty is hiding because she heard ruffling in the leaves, and is hoping that It’s Mika. But when Mitty smelled Mila’s scent she decided to come up from behind her tree where she was lost 4 years ago to greet Mila ; something they both have been waiting for.
And now their darkness as turned into the light of day.

The inspiration behind this art is an actual feral cat who looks like Mitty. And I named her Socks. I love this feral cat. I have allergies. I’ve been told that it’s not advisable to take in feral cats , but if I did not have allergies I definitely would. When I don’t see Socks I am lost in darkness for fear that something bad has happened to it. But when I see Socks I’m filled with light. . I included a picture of Socks so you can see her.
