Tour de dForce
3D Render by Causam3DTowel Test
These two dForce towels are the goodies mentioned in our previous bath set post. One is a wrapping towel, designed to stay on your character -- barely -- yet fall away in the right places. It is an accessory follower that you load onto your character. The other is a draping towel. This is the one Addie is using on her hair. The draping towel can be used to interact with any object in your scene. It loads at world center. All you have to do is place it in the right spot and let dForce do its thing. There is a smoothing modifier built in so that you can set the collision object in "Smoothing" section of the Parameters tab to ensure the best result.
This image is so called because there are several dForce items in the scene each of which has its own requirements. It was necessary to simulate each one separately, but they behave very well so it was not too much trouble to get this done. I don't expect that a lot of users will be rendering this many dForce items in one scene, but this shows that the Bath Set can get the job done.
We'll be releasing the Bath Set as a standalone product probably this coming week. It depends on how testing goes.
