Avia, a 32-year-old rebel, moved stealthily through the narrow, shadowed alleys of the remote village. The oppressive regime's forces were on high alert, hunting rebels like her, making every step fraught with danger. Her stomach growled, a reminder of her dire need for sustenance. She scanned her surroundings and spotted a small, dimly lit restaurant tucked away in a corner, its traditional Asian facade a stark contrast to the harsh metallic structures dominating the village.

She slipped inside, the door chime barely audible. The interior was quaint and dark, the faint aroma of spices offering a brief moment of comfort. Avia found a secluded table at the back and ordered a simple meal, her senses heightened to any potential threats. She placed her gun on the table, within easy reach, its cold metal a reassuring presence.

As she ate, savoring the warmth of the food, the door chime rang again. Two regime fighters, their black uniforms unmistakable, entered the restaurant. Avia's heart raced. She kept her head down, her eyes on her plate, hoping they wouldn't notice her. But the sound of their boots on the wooden floor grew louder, drawing closer.
