This salon actually exists in the roleplaying game (roxbox salon) but I invented the look for it. I used inspiration from Patrick Nagel's prints from the 80's but combined it with hairstyles from the 40's. And of course some neon smile

Lots of fun to make this one!

I don't keep track, so I couldn't give you any numbers. This is a passion project for me and I spend a lot of time researching, studying Syd Mead designs and watching tutorials to learn how to do what is needed. For example, in this shot...I spent time studying old Nagel prints and learning how reduce the geometry of signs like the roxbox sign so that it takes less memory to load and render. What's great is that when I learn something I can use it in everything else I make!
