Found a CC0 photograph of a crowd and wanted to add Lakshmi to it. I've written a utility that analyzes background images and recommends an HDRI and rotation for the best lighting. Seems to be giving pretty good results.

Fair bit of post processing in Photoshop to match the grain and noise to the background.

Interesting to see a Genesis 8.1 character joining the real-world crowd.

In real life I don't think Lakshmi would go unnoticed. *Someone* would be staring...

That's actually well done given the various tech limitations at play. I know I generally try to leave out real photos from 3D stuff just for that reason (looks out of place on numerous levels), but that's impressive.

Thanks! If I had the real HDRI taken from that location it might have turned out better. It's still a little off but it's been fun experimenting.

I made a correction to a light source that was giving the wrong shadows. Looks a little more natural now. Cheers!
