So why don't I promote archaic face / war paint in instructional images such as war, battle, shamanic rituals etc.???
Because I find it stupid and boring!
In my opinion, the product should inspire the artist ... and not the promos. And that's why for my next project (archaic face painting), instead of gloom and doom I opted for joyfull promos.
BTW - I also tried the face painting in nude with PasahRi's naughty projects (poses, props, etc): worked great ... and even LL Face or the Funfluidz came out amazingly well

I rarely use a model as the promos suggest. I think it is a subliminal rebellion thing.

One of my favourite sayings is "the proof of the pudding is in the eating", so, imho, promos are there to show what you COULD do, and so, as long as the product is shown "as is" and not artificially beautified: everybody then can decide for himself.
Will there be a G9 version as with some of your products? I suspect it will not work already in its G8 state, otherwise it would have said somewhere. Hell, am I the only one using G9?

We were advised on Renderosity against doing pretty much everything we do with our promos. We conformed for a year with very little impact at all. Yet now we pay no attention to anyone and are doing better than ever. Go with your heart, go with your gut.... any organ that pulls you creatively I guess.
One doesn't stand out by sticking to the framework and conformity.
