"Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" has been echoed through the ages to justify the public execution of women merely suspected of practicing witchcraft. The horrific expression on the woman's face stems from the combination of feeling the heat of the fire that is about to carry her into eternity and the fact that her witchcraft was just that she enjoyed reading books and helping her neighbors with herbal holistic approaches to medicine that weren't leaches.

The crowd salivates at the prospect of a public witch burning, while the priest condemns her with scripture from an antiquated book full of fairy tales meant to keep the common man subservient and scared of free thought.
