Great work.
This shows me again how well you can handle the play of light, emissions and shadows.
It certainly takes a lot of work and patience.

That is so kind of you to say. So much when into this simple looking scene. The ground is invisible to begin with, which I have done several times, the reason for this is I didn't want the clipping of the VDBs which would normally be very apparent. The pillar is actually made up of 4 VDBs the smoke cloud around her feet is made of of 3 VDBs. there are several more in the background and the circle behind her. But all of that was fairly simple compared to creating her skin which took me about 2 days to get right. The scene uses no Bloom which I had to do because the skin has emissive elements and if I use bloom that just make it look weird. I am personally pretty proud of this one.
