No Access Without Escort

Earth had become crowded and polluted. I couldn't find a job anywhere, so I started playing the space travel lottery. One day, I Won! I got a chance to go to the Alpha Centauri system. A chance at a new life with lots of opportunity and interesting people. I boarded the spaceship Eclipse and was assigned to my quarters and designated area. Things went along fine until one night, I heard the low rumbling vibration of the spaceship stop. Were we there? I could barely contain my excitement. There was no notificaton or people moving around in my area. Perhaps if I was to sneak up to the next leve, maybe I could find out something. I made my way to the elevator, that moved with a quiet swoosh. On the next level I had just started to move around when a security robot appeared. It said loudly, " You have no access to be here without an escort. Return to your quarters immediately!" I ran back to the elevator and managed to escape tangling with the robot.
I am now sure I will be reported. However, in my time on that level I saw a window. We are above a planet! I wonder if this is my destination....
