3D Render by MKDAWUSSIt's been a long time since I've done a shot like this. Several hard drives ago, in fact. Cool to do, but can be a bit tricky.
Loving the cockpit reflection in the pilot's visor, a lovely detail.

Thu, Jan 02And that's OOTB, too. Usually for things like that where the shot warrants it, various attempts to make the HUDs appropriate to the scene can get tricky. As that render started to take shape, I figured it was good enough as-is.
Thats really cool! Did you use the Iray section plane node to get the inside of cockpit shot?

Tue, Jan 07Nope, that was just careful camera placement. I probably would have had to that or something similar for a side shot, but from the front there was enough space to get the whole view in. Tight fit though.
The flight suit colors and the reflection on the visor bring out the visuals.
