He groaned. "I suppose You want to take Me for a walk?" Then his eyes lit up with an idea. "Go ask Nana! Maybe she'll let you walk Her!"
Nana poked her head in from the kitchen. "Nana told her to ask you. Now be the dear boy you are, and give her want she wants. Do it for Nana. I have to finish dinner. Ah, Look at that sweet face! How can you say no to that face?" Nana smiled at her grandson.
Alec grumbled as he grudgingly got to his feet. "More like I can't say no to YOU!" And then he smiled as he led Bella to the door.
