3D Render by Causam3DWe've started fooling around with some golf stuff at C3D.
Years ago, when Julie version 0.0001 was dreamed up the idea was to use her as a character in a golf game. I've since decided that creating a game isn't what I want to spend my time doing but that doesn't mean we can't do some fun stuff with equipment and apparel. In a way, this is full circle for Julie.
Here, we've used the Judy Jetrock outfit on Julie with some subdued golfy colors and the saddle shoes from Vintage Spirit along with an asset purchased of golf surroundings and a few little items like the ball and tee. This is a test, I guess. I like the way it came out.
The poses are frames of an animation I converted to Genesis 8 from Mixamo. At the very least, we'll be making some golf poses and I can't even remotely imagine not creating some golf apparel to go along with the whole thing. Also I don't care for the clubs that came with this set. Before my back started doing sneaky things like laying me up without warning for days a time, I was a duffer. I wasn't any good, but it was enjoyable to get out into the fresh air and chase that one decent shot that keeps duffers coming back for more. That and the bar in the clubhouse at the end of 18 holes. It was fun. And I appreciate a good set of clubs and especially a bag big enough to carry a little ice and a six pack of cold snacks.
Anyway, let us know what you think of the idea.
