Happy Days
The Yamaha XS650 is a mid-size motorcycle made by Yamaha Motor Company. The standard model was introduced in October 1969,and produced through 1979.

I took the standard model from the very talented "freeReef" over at Deviantart and did my own little customising... hope you like it.

Dear Daddy3D,

I agree with @mbit. Exceptionally accurate, even to the mid 70's style tyres and tread (significantly different to tyres these days); plus the pipes are right.

Many models tend to confuse the XS500 upsweep megaphones with the XS650 flutes.

Rear indicators (Jap/Euro standard - bracket came out from the rear shock top castle/dome nut) are missing - so I expect its the US release.

Mind you Dag (daggerwilldo) or my grand-dad must have noticed or mentioned that ... on account I think I'm too young to know/recall (lol).

Cheers and thanks for the fond memories (Dag's/Grand-dads) ...

 Rick.

[Dag - remind me to tell you about the head-on with Tony (on an XS650). Blind corner and there was this snake ...]
