Belle and The Beast
3D Render by dwindtI saw a photo of Ickworth House upstairs dining room hall set out for a banquet. One look at the candlestick holders and I could see Lumiere frantically waving his arms around...so I had to have a stab at introducing Belle, The Beast and a few of the characters from the movie, into the photo. It was not an easy task but I think it was worth it. To settle everything I chose into the photo, it took just over 100 layers.
Now my eyes need a rest.

Tue, Feb 18It's a photo infused with 3D objects. Testing 2D and 3D skills. The 2nd image is the original photo. As I suggested, when I saw it, the candle holders reminded me so much of Beauty and the Beast, I wanted to see if I could incorporate Belle, the Beast and some of the characters from the movie, into the photo as seamlessly as possibly. This meant I would have to create a realistic photo image in the places where I placed the 3D objects and removed the photo items etc; to accommodate such; i.e.; the jar behind Mrs Potts, the chair back and underneath table edge above the jar, Cogworth's shadow ; etc.
The trickiest part was getting the floor and door refracting through the rose glass convincing enough to fool the eye that it was authentic.

Wed, Feb 19maybe just a tad too much light intensity directly on her face but you did a great job incorporating it into the image kudos

Thu, Feb 20Thanks, 3DMad. It looks pretty easy and clean once its complete but you run into a lot of challenges when you manipulate 3D into a photo and it's pretty difficult...but fun.
