NO AI - Love and Happiness
3D Render by slofkoskyContinuing with the idea that the simple things in life are the true gold, I wanted to create a minimal yet deeply authentic scene, something that feels as real as possible.
There’s something about stripping away excess that allows the core of a moment to shine. Maybe I overcomplicate my scenes too often, adding layers upon layers when, in reality, it’s the simplicity that makes them resonate the most.
I never realized just how lifelike the Sylvia 9 HD model was until I started down this road. The level of detail is astonishing, unless the Daz Gallery compresses the image too much, you can actually see the pores on her skin.
Look closely at her arms, and you might even swear you see tiny arm hairs catching the light. Her fingers tell their own story, revealing the subtle presence of bones, muscles, wrinkles and everything that makes a human figure feel alive, despite being completely digital.
The hair? That was just a happy dForce accident. The strands fell into place a little unnaturally, and rather than fight it, I embraced the imperfections, leaving it beautifully messy.
Sometimes, the best results come from letting go.
NO AI USED – And hardly any edits done besides background, name, brightness and contrast.

Sat, Feb 01Thank you Mr Taured!. It’s just so unfair when someone runs one of their renders through an AI optimizer. Their image goes from a 5 out of 10 to a full blown 10 in one second.
Nice portrait! And I completely agree with the no AI position...

Sun, Feb 02I really appreciate you saying that, bisonravi!
AI is here to stay, but for me, art is about the joy of creating so I’m going to keep doing it without it. Thanks again my friend!

Sun, Feb 02It's so true! Some renders look good while others, it seems, no matter how much time you put into it they just don't improve. Thank you very much MKDAWUSS!
Nice render! She definitely has some personality. Agree with the no AI in the arts as well.

Sun, Feb 02I very much appreciate it Putt001! Yeah she has something that is shining through even though she's not even real. Like a spark of humanity and her personality was captured.
I experimented with AI about two years ago in its infancy but decided that it wasn't for me. With the help of Splatterbaby he helped me see that it's just a tool. But you also don't have to use all of the tools at your disposal... I guess I'm trying to say personal choice. Thank you once again!

Sun, Feb 02Thank you so very much eligodesign! You are alway so wonderful and I sincerely thank you very much.
The sparkle in the eye was a nice accident while I was trying to get her smile just right. Thank you once again my friend. I always appreciate your time.

Sylvia 9 is definitely one of my favorite Gen 9 models, perhaps my favorite of the generation as a whole.
big respects on no use of AI and your minimal approach to this render; it's very inspiring !!

Mon, Feb 03I totally feel you on the post-work lmaoo. I just love to make everything look gritty, nasty and sometimes unsettling.
and you're welcome !!
and you're welcome !!

Thank you for the reminder about simplicity. It often seems that I get the best renders when I put down what I want to express and then stop (except for the little embellishments and fixes of course). A writer friend said you can go on fixing a story over and over into eternity. This is a wonderful portrait and I like the hair.
No AI for me either.

Sun, Feb 09Hi Blue Flame! I appreciate your thoughts and that you also agree on trying to minimize edits other than fixes and little embellishments. I try to do what the photography world strive for and that is to try to get it right in render. But, I also often over edit... just things spiral and then I find that there are too many changes.
The hair and all products used can be seen in the link to Daz3D Gallery. So if you are interested you can find the exact hair that I used for the model.
Thanks once again Blue Flame! You create incredible imagery and I'm very flattered by your time.
