One of the hardest things doing 3D art is always conveying the emotion of and individual or a group. The effect you choose is just perfect, for showing regret, which one of the hardest to do. You are amazing.

"Poses of Grief" would have been appropriate; I see at least: Shock, Anger, Despair/Sadness, Imploring/Bargaining. Acceptance/Resignation? Maybe, in a downcast non-despairing sadness.
