Amazing how you can take a simple environment prop and rev it up into a major contributor to the scene. Of course, I like giant robots too!

Indeed, the ruins are are a rather old prop, and I was surprised how well these (and some other old props) worked. The plants were fairly lowres, which I hid with some dust. Some materials would have deserved some more attention, but with lighting and a bit of trickery in Photoshop the advantages were bigger than the drawbacks.
