Attack on Titan
3D Render by midgard229fanart I did of one of my fave fights in Attack on Titan; Female Titan vs Mikasa.
Lot of work went into this; from making the village look like Shiganshina, to making the scale of the battle feel like it's large and destructive. Initially i had the camera closer to Mikasa but after rendering I decided to do another pass and pull the cam out which helped show more destruction. Movement was one of the main things I wanted to portray too So a lot went into getting the VDB effects working properly.
there is no Postwork as usual with most of my work, so getting that all done with practical in studio effects took a bit. (Wait i actually did add some motion blur in post for the bricks, so i guess I lied there xD) I rendered this like two years ago?
one of my personal fave fanart/action pieces I did; hope you all enjoy even if you aren't a fan of the show.
