This world is spinning faster and faster and old things quickly lose their meaning for many people, but it is memories that give things a soul. Good and bad, and toys often remind us of a time when everything was somehow, light, full of magic and fantasy was limitless. What will become of the toys when we grow up in the world of adults? What if a teddy bear is really only made of fabric and doesn't accompany us on an adventure through the forest? Does our toy miss us too? Does it keep its soul as long as it is kept alive in our memory? Does it sadden because it is forgotten or no longer has the value it once had? Or does it know that at some point it will no longer be of use?

I think the toy would be sad because it was abandoned, with no understanding why.
I have thought about the toys that disappeared out of my life. Thanks for putting the idea forward. This is a pretty cool image as well.

I hope that they know in some small way that they helped us. To get past the difficult times in life or through the things that scared us. To create anchors to our treasured memories and amplify the love that might be pouring from our loved ones. I hope they know.
