3D Render by Storm84hunterHi, it's time again for a little Star Wars render (it's been a part of most of my life and will never die). Even if certain new owners think they're ruining the universe so much that only a small shadow remains. So we have to "tell" our own stories 
Years ago, a great trooper outfit was designed. I don't know, but it was definitely DAZ by Mytilus? Here's an attempt with the good old Victoria 4...
Figure: Electra V4 from SAV, Zero Gravity Hair SAV Renderosity, Electra V4 SAV (they make good figures ^^), Saberlight from Mytilus, Optima Floors Sveva, Lliflame, Darth Vader import from DAZ (Monika Renderhub as Collada and shader adjustments), Tie Fighter from Monika too, perfect portraits hdri from Dimension Theory DAZ (b/w hdri) and many different lights
It took me days to get the lightsaber effects right, and no, it still doesn't fit properly --> physical root node. I also played around with a few effects and motion blur.
No postwork or ai ever...

One comfort I've taken is that the "old" canon is no longer subject to change and now a playground for which headcanon can thrive in.
I remember that outfit from years back. I don't think I did much with it beyond a few (now long gone) renders.

Tue, Apr 01Hi, thank you very much for the reply I'm a little undecided. I have to go back a bit, to the 90s. After Episode VI was over (because I'd seen the old one over and over again, a few comics, and a few novels), the waiting began. Questions like, when is the next Star Wars movie coming out (and I think George Lucas couldn't stand the "questions" anymore ^^). Episode 1 made me think "what's that?" "omg," or "that doesn't look so bad after all." Episode 3 reconciled me a little. Years later, the others. In conclusion, though, I have to say Episodes IV-VI were the best (I grew up with them, although I still think Episode V is the best). Later series weren't too bad either. At the moment, I'm reading the Darth Vader comics and I think they're pretty good, and I'm rendering the occasional image...
