I started my Wasteland Series in 2022 with this new character and scene. This character has been in all my post-apocalyptic scenes since then.

By that time, this scene was designed to learn more about light and its interaction in interiors with volumetric and dirty atmospheres.

No post-work. Straight from render.

Are the blood and dust/ash decals? The blood under her gloves looks especially convincing and is one of the things I've found hardest to convey in a scene.

I didn't remember it, so I had to check it out.
I used Photoshop to add blood to the Base Color map file for the pants. Glossy Reflection 0.5 and Glossy Roughness 1.0. iRay did the rest.

You are welcome.
It's a very useful way to add specific detail if you need It. For example, add dirty to ears ornspecific wounds to a body, etc ...
