Tue, Apr 08, 2025Have a look here, then: https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/products/164425/bulby
This one suddenly reminded me of my wife and I as we grow older. I get sick and she tends to me, and then she gets sick and I try to take care of her. Mostly it is me getting sick. Meaning out of light bulbs, how strange...

Thu, Apr 10, 2025Yep getting old is not for cowards
And having somebody to be seen after by and to care for is the important part of it.

Sat, Jun 07, 2025Das "echte" Helferlein ist noch ein bisschen anders, aber gibt es auch schon (Light Bob by DZFire). Dieser hier ist von Cybertenko.
The real Little Helper looks a wee bit different, but is also available (Light Bob by DZFire). The depicted one is by Cypertenko.

Tue, Dec 30, 2025Edit: the creator of bulby is coflek-gnorg, not Cybertenko.... Just thought I let you know.
I've worked with Robert and Dom and I'm thinking you may have mistook one for the other (I often do) because this model is actually coflek-gnorg's (Dom's) Bulby not Roberts (Cybertenko) ... just the same it's a great image and congratulations on it being appropriately identified as a "Stand Out" =)

Tue, Dec 30, 2025Thanks for your kind words, and hell - you are right. Corrected that immediately here and also on DA.
Anyways not much else I can do now since I fell down the stairs and now wear a stylish orthotic leg brace, which prevents travels into the basements, where my main machine lives. So not many renders to be expected for at least 2-6 weeks.
Have a creative, fantastic (and healthy
) new year!

Fri, Jan 02Yikes you are deep in the danger zone! I ruptured my Achilles tendon and was on crutches for eleven weeks, trapped with the refrigerator and cable TV. I put on six pounds. And now you, 6 weeks, holiday goodies all around, there is no hope for me but you still have a chance! Stay strong, and hopefully once you are up and around the worst part of the year will be behind you, and all that will be left for you and yours is a very happy new year ;^)

Sat, Jan 03OMG that REALLY sounds terrible. Especially the weight part, since I shed about 49 pounds over the last 2 years
So thanks for the warning! Next week I can finally see a doctor I trust after managing to get an MRT - and I have to be fit for a fair early in March, so 11 weeks is a close call..
BUT I finally figured out how to get into the basement (lowering the second crutch through the staircase on a rope) - so I can work - and render. Once downstairs I even get room service, since the best wife of all brings some food around lunchtime. Well, better less food, but I had planned a protein shake based 4 week diet to kick my metabolism anyway.
Have a wonderful start into 2026 - and stay healthy
