Serenade No 13
3D Render by Beautiful MisfitsI was searching and without knowing, MysticArtDesign helped me and so did some others
And I found a nice store, and in this store I found the cutest little seedlings ever!
But that's not the point.
The point is the store, I was searching for and I think, I found it. Because I think, it's in time to take my tent and place it somewhere else
Not today, not tomorrow, but very soon
Serenade No 13 better known as
Eine kleine Nachtmusik
It took forever to render it, because I really have problems to set the right lights. Using some pre-made mostly ends in a disaster, cause it just don't fit to the scene.
So it was creating light, render, delete, create, render delete, til I finally had the sanctuary not in a blazing white.
Honestly, I envy everyone, who is able to use photoshop or whatever for a good post work. I would too, but I don't have the skills to do it *lol*

And rotating this and switching that and then spending time changing tone mapping settings. And depending on how much time is spent, saving the scene and reloading DAZ to do a memory(?) flush so it renders a little faster.

Neither do I - I'm a copy-and-paste artist in photoshop. And I don't know if I would if I could - to me, the less "faked" (funny term given the medium, I know) the better.

Sat, Apr 12Almost right
And thanks for the tip with saving (what I do all the time, again and again, who knows daz studio knows to save *lol*) but with the reload. Maybe it will help my PC and make it stop screaming all the time

Sat, Apr 12I tend to only do it if I know it's a complicated scene or likely going to be a lengthy render. Something relatively simple that's done in 1 session tends to not get saved. It's one of my changing habits regarding renders.
Light is very difficult, but crucial for a picture. I hardly ever send one out without post-processing, even if I've got the lighting right. It turned out really cute, and the little plants are beautifully presented. Thank you for using my content and mentioning the products.

Sat, Apr 12Thanks and yes, it's crucial. When it comes to lights, it was easier for me in Poser. I remember PoserFreaks, that page was such a huge help back the days, when I just started.
Cuteness overdrive - thanks for sharing
A very easy to use tool in Photoshop is Auto Contrast (I use this for my UI icons when the small 250 x 250 renderings come out too pale).
Have a great weekend

All these "auto" I avoid it like the devil the holy water *lol* First choice for me are always "levels" and "curves" and from there to saturation and so on. But in the end I'm mostly back to the beginning and changing the contrast a tiny little bit and maybe the curves.
A great weekend for you too

Yes, these lights could drive us crazy
Gimp is a good tool and I know people, who rather use Gimp than PS.
I was lucky, bought the CS5 many years ago and stuck with it. No subscription
Ok, no updates as well, but for that little I use PS for, I don't need updates *lol*
