What kind of monster PC do you have, that it can handle that amount of figures?

@Beautiful Misfits: you don't really need a monster PC. The background trees and all people are in fact billboards (a rectangle with a picture on it and an opacity map to remove the outline) and you can reduce the memory for all the props by reducing the size of the texturing maps. The tricky part is to get consistent shadows for the billboards and avoidind them looking 'flat', and keener succeeded in doing something very clean!

Bisonravi, Thank you for explaining billboards. However not all are billboards. As I recall there is at least 3 or 4 full figures
that are in the scene. I'll have to reopen the scene to refresh my memory on the details.
