Artemis is a character from my upcoming graphic novel series, "Maverick Force". She is a G.E.M. (genetically engineered mammal), a race of biologically enhanced humans produced in an underground laboratory complex. Artemis recently escaped from her handlers, and is determined to remain free from the nightmarish existence that has been forced upon her.
