La Maupin
3D Render by MjrkJulie d’Aubigny was born in the late 17th century. Her father was responsible for the education of the pages at the court of the French King. And he educated her in the same way as those boys. So she learned to read and write, to draw and to dance, to ride an how to fight with a sword.
It seems, she was a free spirit, she had a lot of affaires with men and women, fought several duels which she all won, was sentenced to death two times and was pardoned by the king each time.
She was a famous opera singer known as Mademoiselle Maupin and so I depict her in a costume on the stage.
There are no matching costumes for the late 17th century, I just imagine her having a duel on the stage of the opera house. Let’s say it is one of the 2 duels she fought with two colleagues who mobbed her and the fighters are still in the costume of the piece they’ve just performed.
In 1703 she lived with the Marquise de Florensac, and when her lover died, Mademoiselle Maupin ended her career and retreated into a cloister, where she died 2 years later at the age of 33.
I guess, she would have liked the chanson on, je ne regrette rien“ by Edith Piaf.
The actors here: P3D Rowan G9 in the great Renaissance costume by Romarovprivate/RR and Diego G8 with Corsican Raider outfit by Madame Brundon/DAZ.
SASE Promo Lights, 2 Spotlights and 1 Ghost Light from the left.
Thanks for looking!

Tue, Jul 08Merci, Alain. And in her story you'll meet the Count d' Armmagnac again, who plays an infamous role again,
just as in Cyrano de Bergerac.
