Miyako Sogabe is the main character in my soon-to-be-complete novel Stardust. She joined the Humanist Coalition Allied Force to see the world and feel some semblance of the adventure she once shared with her estranged sister, Keiko.

After failing to save an informant and getting captured and tortured in the process, she was discharged and left jobless and hopeless until she got a phone call from Brecht Vanderberg, a shy corporate executive claiming to have proof of a conspiracy targeted at her and Keiko.

Seeing the chance to reconcile with her sister, she jumps at the chance...and enters a conflict that has the potential to alter the very nature of reality.
