Continuing on from 'Instant Karma'

‘Yes, well…’ Mya replied. ‘Anyway,’ she continued, collecting her thoughts, ‘Tali and I became close during all of this. There had been a pretty instant attraction at that first meeting, and this grew over time. Our friendship quickly began to blossom into something more profound.’

‘Profound.’ Shaana responded, obviously mulling over the word.

Mya glanced at her, ‘We fell in love. Considering the trade that we found ourselves in, it probably wasn’t the wisest of moves, but when you find it you grasp it with both hands and don’t let go, no matter how insane it seems.’

‘Mmmn.’ The girl replied cryptically, setting Mya on edge.

‘Yeah, well, after that things moved quickly. Knowing I would deploy soon, be sent into the belly of the beast so to speak, and my chances of survival were slim to none existent, we decided to get married.’

Shaana turned to look at her, and Mya stumbled at the sudden movement. ‘People still do that?’ She asked, genuinely curious.

‘Occasionally,’ Mya responded, smiling. ‘We wanted something definitive, to cement our relationship, to both know we had something good to cling on to when things got bad.’ She looked down at the water at their feet, then back up and met the girls eyes. ‘I needed something tangible that I could hold onto when I was alone and feeling lost. I knew it would happen; I’d been to some pretty dark places already after what I’d experienced in combat. Psychologically the knowledge that I had Tali to go home to would keep me sane.’

‘Must have been nice.’ Shaana said quietly.

‘Yes, it was. Those last few weeks together, well, we hardly left each others side.’ Mya grinned, ‘We had sex a lot.’

Shaana blushed, turned her head.

‘I mean, a lot!’ Mya continued playfully, sensing the girls discomfort.

‘Be quiet now!’ Shaana said bluntly, suddenly stopping.

‘It was great sex!’ Mya added, unable to help herself.

‘That’s all well and good…’ The girl hissed, quietly but intensely. Only now did Mya take stock of their surroundings. The tunnel had changed and the sound of falling water echoed through the pipework. ‘...but you need to shut up now.’ She indicated ahead, to a right hand bend in the sewer, beyond which it was clearly and ominously darker.

‘We’re here!’ Shaana said simply.

Slightly naughtier images for this chapter, but this story was always going to have an erotic element to it, and there is also a contrast in these pictures to those that will illustrate Shaana's story later on, which will have a much darker edge to them.

Apologies for the delay in posting again, but I couldn't decide whether I wanted to put together a panel of images or post them individually. In the end I kinda did both as I feel the separate panels stand up pretty well as standalone images best seen at a higher resolution - I did the bath scene months ago and was really pleased with the way it turned out.
