I was thinking about the military being sent into the streets of Washington D.C. here in the US. It's something I never would have imagined. In this scene I used a compassionate negotiator that is interested in helping the "criminal" to avoid certain death by military action.

Nice premise here, it's always good to "Try" and keep a clear head in every situation, even though here it would be difficult

Thanks for your comment LP. I was also trying to show how a negotiator might look in the situation. Surely she would be afraid and anxious, yet concerned.

In reading back, I see the real meaning of your comment. It's possible that the only feeling someone could have at this point would be true fear, and the animal fight or flee directive screaming in their head. Sorry, "Try" was not the right verbiage. "You have to" might be more appropriate.
