3D Render by miuvermillionMultilayered outfit for an anime-style character in action poses.
The clothing and boots were modeled using Style3D Studio
I use two different type of meshes: quads to form the angular-shaped parts and tris to form the curvy-shaped parts

Two of the most challenging parts in creating this piece are:
1.
Folding and layering the flounces for the skirt, and making sure they retain their intended silhouette even when the character is in action poses.
2.
Creating gravity-defying pleats that do not flop down during simulation/animation. It requires multiple strategic usage of pins and hidden supports, as well as fabric properties adjustments/experiments, because normal settings just won’t do the trick. Some of the pleated pieces might look the same, but since they are placed at different angles and parts of the clothing, to override the effect of gravity, they have different fabric properties/settings.
