My name is Pyae Phyo Khant, a visual artist and fashion designer working at the intersection of 3D, streetwear, and cultural storytelling. For this contest, I created a design that merges the energy of rapper street style with the toughness of cowboy Americana. I wanted to build a look that feels rebellious, confident, and unapologetically bold.

The oversized denim jacket features flame embroidery on the sleeves, a sheriff-style star badge, and CH-branded buttons, transforming classic Western icons into playful, subversive details. The leather harness pants and cow-print underlayers highlight the hybrid mix of cowboy and hip-hop, while layered belts and embossed leather textures give the design depth and movement.

On the back, I introduced my own brand concept, “Cactus Hugger,embroidered with a playful cartoon cactus. This adds humor and personality, showing that the outfit is not just about toughness but also about fun and identity. Small crafted details like the medal, button design, and embossed leather all carry the CH initials, reinforcing the brand story.

Styled on the runway against a dramatic sunset, the design aims to blur the line between digital culture, Americana heritage, and contemporary street couture.

I also want to apologize for submitting this so close to the deadline. I’ve been working very hard to complete the design and statement in time, and truly appreciate the opportunity to share my work.
