I had the pleasure of designing this outfit for the RenderHub Fashion Contest 2.

The inspiration came from the arrival of autumn. It's cozy atmosphere, the pumpkin spice latte season, and most of all, the enchanting world of mushrooms. Fashion has always fascinated me, so for this contest I wanted to create something unique and timeless. I began the process by putting together a moodboard that captured the overall mood and aesthetic of the piece.

The garment was created in Marvelous Designer. The oversized mushroom cap hides pleated fabric underneath, symbolizing the gills. Flowing ruffles represent the stem, while the voluminous puffed parts of the dress are inspired by mushroom structures.

The starting point was the original RenderHub scene, but I reimagined it within a magical autumn forest to complement the gown. The scene is brought to life with a crowd of characters dressed in coordinating mushroom-inspired outfits, creating the impression of a whimsical fairytale gathering.

The clothing was designed in Marvelous Designer (spots on hats in Blender), the environment and clothes shaders was built in Blender, and the final touches were completed with light post-production in Photoshop.
