Touch of the Butterfly

I’m excited to share my first entry in this contest. Everything in the outfit, including the character, was modeled and textured entirely from scratch by me in Blender during the contest, with attention to every detail to bring my vision to life.
While lighting was a challenge (not my strongest suit), I poured my heart into presenting the outfit as best as I knew how, and I’m proud of how it turned out.
I’ve included a solid viewport, wireframe and a few progress shots and some inspiration images I collected along the way.
I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed creating it, and I would be grateful for your feedback.

The butterfly theme is cute. I like how you've added some subtle butterfly motives (motif?) to the bosom to carry on the theme. The only part that I find detracts from the look are the platform shoes. I hate platforms because they ruin the delicate look of a ladies leg and foot. Here, they detract from the fine details of the leggings (stockings?). The skirt/pants idea is unique and fun.

! I totally get what you mean about the platform shoes and I think you’re right and something more delicate like high heel sandals would probably suit this outfit much better.
And that pink outfit you mentioned - omg, I loved it so much too! It’s such a beautiful and ethereal design. If you would ever like to have this or something similar for your character, I would be happy to take it on as a commission for you.

A commission eh......what kind of price would you want? I doubt that I could afford what it would take to make this.
