After they escaped Racoon City Leon, Claire, and Sherry find a room at a cheap motel. A day later they are all cleaned up and checking out when the front desk clerk tries to charge them extra for a "cleaning room fee". Leon not having any of that gets assertive and takes charge and puts the clerk in his place by reminding him he is a police officer and he will not hesitate to launch an investigation on the Motel based on some of the seedy things he observed while they were staying there. The Clerk caves in and waves the fee telling them to have a good day. Claire not able to help herself gets flushed watching Leon take charge like that. She finds herself grinning like an idiot. She feels a hand on her back and sees Sherry looking up at her grinning. Before Sherry can say anything Claire playfully tells Sherry to "shush"
