On the Way To Work

The top floor had seemed like such a good idea when she had signed the lease. She was reminded each morning why a good view was not the only way to select an apartment.

As she was crossing the street to the pool car she had brought home last night, her friend Brooklyn texted asking if she wanted to go out that night. She started composing a response.
THIRD IMAGE
There was a green flash that drew her attention from the phone just in time for her to see whatever it was fade. Perhaps it had been a street light showing through the dense foliage of the abandoned estate, although there was no corresponding yellow or red that followed.

I remember working for a moving company and girls like Maddison were all too common on the top floor. Haha. Im itching to find out whats in this estate. O.O just go to work Maddison, our curiosity is dangerous. Hahaha.
