The Lord of Mankind shifted through myriads of time-lines, uiverses, catastrophies... in the hope of preserving mankind.

"Is there even a sliver of hope?"

He pondered as he concentrated with the help of a Devanite artifact, Stone of Illumination. The artifact enhanced and raised acuity of focus. It took tremendous amount of psy-energies to do so, but he was the only one who could make this mind-journey. Although he took less than a second to look into a timeline... but the strings of fate was virtually infinite to say the least, whereupon millions upon millions of possibility existed.
