The city slept, wrapped in a metallic gray that only the rain seemed to awaken. Bunko crouched in the shallow water, the weight of his tactical suit barely disturbing the surface. He had returned. Not for revenge, not for glory. Only for answers.
The butterflies fluttered around him, as if celebrating his arrival or trying to warn him. They were the only ones who didn't fear him. In that forgotten corner of the city, where the factories no longer roared and the neon lights had gone out, Bunko gazed at the sky. Every falling drop seemed to bring back a memory, a broken promise, a voice that was no longer there.

The water spoke to him. And he listened.
