For this project, I wanted to create something that was between the idea of a "monster" and a hypothetical "discovery channel for demons." So, here's a female demonic spider, straight from your worst nightmares, who devours her victims to feed her young inside the eggs on her abdomen.
The victim is my own model Evelyn from my store, a zombie model whose appearance was so deteriorated and agonizing that perfectly fit the role of the victim for this scene
I took inspiration from the black widow and the wolf spider, the first for the size of its abdomen and the second for its legs and the type of rough-looking fur.

Starting with primitives modeling




The doll face is from an external library and adjusted with Zbrush
I wanted its legs with creepy claws, so I modeled one of them and distributed with MASH. Same for the eggs


Uvs and Painter texturing (I texturized the claws apart because I used only a shell for all the 8 legs)


X-Gen!

For the realization of the spider webs, I cut some webs found on Internet (free resources), from which I realized both Base color and Opacity mask.

For the textured of the floor, instead, I used SubDesigner. Not a perfect result, I have to admit, but close enough with the idea I gotin mind or an cavern interior. For the wall, I used a texture from an external library
