Hi Everybody.
Since I don't have Marvellous Designer, I thought of giving up from the beginning and to not join this contest. However, I like challenges that let me learn new things, so, maybe in an alternative way, here I am.
I planned to create an outfit to sell for Daz (if I figure out how to do that, lol), so I first chose Genesis Femal Model 8.1 to wrok on.
Let's start from the idea. I like opposites. I wanted to create an elegant outfit, but trying to imagine that in a dystopian world. How should it be? A world where there's not clean oxygen, where the poor are poorer and rich people are those who are into weapons commerce. So, a dress who shouts "YES, I AM!", I'm a powerfull daughter of a mercenary. A dress, however, who looks at the past, as it often happens where thing go wrong in the worst possible way.
So, that's the result: a dress made in "ancient" weapons, with a gasmask covered in diamonds.
Remember when during the Covid people start buying fashion masks? Well, I imaged the same thing: being fashion in a ruined world.
I used my personal Bambie model for the render.

Basically, not having Marvellous as I said, I directly modeled selecting faces, detaching and sometimes extruding basing on a Genesis 8.1 Female model
Here cutting parts for the transparent lace parts of the dress
Knots made with the curves to mesh
Since I had not a good topology for the mask, I modeled it with the quad draw reto tool
Let's challenge the true nightmare
Now the wireframes, once imported in DAZ
And, as requested, the raw render before the edit made in Photoshop
