A Return to Barrow
3D Render by FraxuredDreamzEvery year, Barrow Alaska experiences a phenomenon called a polar night which lasts for 30 days or more. No sunlight...just a month of darkness. In 2002, a group of vampires made their way to Barrow via ship during this polar night and feasted upon the residents who hadn't left for the month long night. With no sunlight to impede them, it was a literal bloodbath. In the end, a band of survivors rallied and managed to defeat the vampires, but at great cost.
23 years later the residents have rebuilt, but not forgotten the sacrifices made by so many. But what would happen if the vampires were not extinct? And what would happen if they decided raiding Barrow was worth the risk again?
This image is a sort of "What If..." homage to "30 Days of Night", one of my all time favorite vampire graphic novels / movies.
