An manchen Tagen ist das Herz so schwer,
mein Kopf ist voll und zugleich leer.
Gedanken, die keinen Sinn ergeben,
wie Herbsteslaub durch mein Gehirn schweben.
Meine Tränennasse Haut kann ich nicht spüren
und Sonne will mich nicht berühren.
Doch ich weiß, die Stürme des Lebens werden vorübergehen,
nach dem kalten Winter ist ein warmer Sommer zu sehen,
und Frühling und Herbst im Wechsel dazwischen,
alle Gefühle und Gedanken aufmischen.

mal geht's im Schritte, mal geht's im Trab,
Sonne und Regen, beides kommt vor,
eins nur ist wichtig, Trags mit Humor!"

Some days my heart is so heavy,
my head is full and yet empty.
Thoughts that make no sense,
float through my brain like autumn leaves.
I can't feel my tear-soaked skin,
and the sun refuses to touch me.
But I know the storms of life will pass,
after the cold winter, a warm summer awaits,
and spring and autumn alternate in between,
mixing up all feelings and thoughts.
