The Mechanoid is a fusion of flesh and fury — a living being imprisoned within an armored exoskeleton of alien design. Beneath the steel shell pulses something restless, angry, alive.
Born from fusion-tech warfare, this biomechanical creature merges alien cores with human engineering, turning jet engines into adaptive propulsion and weaponized light. Its living tissue intertwines with cold alloy, every motion driven by raw instinct and burning energy.
A perfect union of rage and machinery — a war form built to crush and conquer.

For this piece, I decided to keep the design in the spirit of Tsutomu Nihei — embracing his stark, architectural style and sense of desolate, mechanical life.

Beyond its visual concept, this piece explores a fully procedural texturing workflow, created entirely without UV mapping. The goal was to develop a non-destructive, resolution-independent, and efficient pipeline that removes tedious stages such as manual UV unwrapping and retopology.
