3D Render by DS5dFor 10 years I dreamt of a shapeshifter following me from a distance. Its form would change but I knew which one it was that chased me. I ran, but it never caught up to me. In time, I learned to stop running. I knew I was dreaming. I was able to let my guard down.
One night, I saw the shapeshifter and knew it was the same dream. I found myself stuck in a bathroom. I turned around and it was reaching out to me. I never had that dream again.
Many years later, I still think about what I’ll see when I’m dreaming.
