In the deep Forest (Part 1)...
3D Render by UdoKWe don't know what happened.
We don't know how it happened.
But we know that it happened.
Aster got lost and lost her parents.
The tragic thing is that it is an unfamiliar forest, in winter, with cold temperatures and it is getting dark soon.
Aster tried to find her way back. She walked a long way, then back again, took a different direction, all without success. She doesn't know where to go.
Her strength is fading, she is getting tired, it is cold. A situation that makes her despair. She calls for Mom and Dad, but there is no answer. It is quiet and cold.
She hasn't eaten anything since this morning.
“Mom, Dad, where are you!?"
She needs to rest, she can't go on.
Her thoughts fall silent. It becomes quiet around her, very quiet and so cold.
What? What is that?
Oh no! A monster!
No, no, no!
Please, please don't hurt me!
She is afraid, forgetting the cold.
“It's going to hurt me, Mom, Dad, HELP! I'm scared. It wants to eat me."
Again, there is silence, but she doesn't feel the cold.
Slowly, she dares to open her eyes.
“Aaaaahhhh!"
It's still there! It's not a dream!
Does it matter if she can open her eyes?
Slowly, she lowers her hands. Her heart is pounding.
Fear.
She senses that it's still there.
But she dares to look at it.
What is it? It looks strange and so big.
A bear?
She summons all her courage.
“Please, please don't hurt me, I want Mom and Dad, I want to go home."
She doesn't think the thing understands her at all.
“Home?" The thing suddenly asks.
“What are you doing here, little human, so deep in the forest? You shouldn't be here, it's far too dangerous."
Aster realizes that the thing understands her. She tells her story.
Opaka, Aster learns, is the name of this “thing". It's not dangerous at all, it's quite nice.
Opaka explains that he will help her and accompany her to the edge of the forest. But he can't take her any further because humans, big humans, don't like him and are afraid of him.
Aster doesn't understand; it's really nice.
But her thoughts fade away. Opaka holds her close to protect her from the cold and keep her warm. She falls asleep.
She doesn't know how long she has been asleep, but it's warm, how wonderful.
She is startled; it really isn't a dream. Opaka has actually brought her to the edge of the forest, from where she can already see her village.
“Little one, you must go on alone from here. I cannot take you any further.“
"Aster, my name is Aster. Will we see each other again?“
"Perhaps. Now go, before it gets dark."
They never saw each other again.
Come back. The story continues.
