Story 1 of 3: La Résistance Romantique – Apprehend

Atlana and Filan had no intention of going out meekly. They brandished their guns and fired at the Interceptor Bots that had come to apprehend them.

As the last of their rounds were spent, a certain dread settled between them. Steam wafted from their weapons, with no sign of them intending to reload.

Filan knelt on the floor, defeated, still clutching her spent rail-blaster in her right hand while clinging to her lover. Atlana raised both steaming weapons in resignation—the last round already discharged. Her face bore the final trace of defiance.

The last remaining Interceptor Bot hovered above, almost daring them to try anything. Yet it showed little interest in their resistance. It was not an independent-thinking bot like Filan or Atlana; it could not perceive the ulterior motive behind Filan reaching around Atlana’s back.

It had affirmed that the two had no means of further violence. There was only one outcome: they would be apprehended, as per its prime directive.

The story came based on Infiltration that I submitted earlier. Thought a story would enhance the artwork.
The three artwork and stories, you could say was at the behest of Ron from Deviney Brushes Master! lol
If he did not need another set of works... I would not have created them. So credit should go where credit is due.
